Instrumentation LTD Palakkad signed its Biggest Project:
Instrumentation LTD Palakkad(ILP), Indias No.1 Control valve manufacturing company have received a prestigious order from M/s BHEL, Hydrabad for 30inch Anti surge Control Valve for their MRPL project, which is the largest valve from Instrumentation Limited, Palakkad. The unit in Palakkad is being expanded to handle bigger and critical valves weighing up to 25 tonnes.
During the 2009-10 fiscal, the unit has manufactured and supplied 2,800 mm size butterfly valves for the Vizag Steel Plant and 24 inch control valves for Pragathi 660 MW Power Plant in New Delhi. The turnover and order booking targets for the 2010-11 fiscal is Rs 120 crore and Rs 130 crore respectively.

Omega announces IR-USB infrared temperature sensors:
Omega announces IR-USB series of infrared temperature sensors, which provide a reliable and economical method for most PC based non-contact temperature monitoring. The unit features an IR sensor/signal conditioner installation with a direct USB connection and free user software that converts a PC into a temperature meter, chart recorder or data logger. The Emissivity is adjustable from 0.10 to 1.0 and this product measures -18 to 538 degrees Celsius (0 to 1000 Fahrenheit). Some typical temperature monitoring applications are where the object to be measured is moving; where the object is surrounded by an EM field, as in induction heating; where the object is contained in a vacuum or other controlled atmosphere; or in circumstances where a fast response is required.
